Back in time

To my knowledge, there are two ways of traveling back in time. One is to get totally naked, step into a time machine, materialize in a round ball sometime in the past, walk to the nearest biker bar, and demand someone's clothes, boots and motorcycle. This approach is recommended only for those few who are relatively rugged and composed of living tissue surrounding a metallic endoskeleton. For the rest of us, the easiest way to travel back in time is to attend a "Classic Rock" concert. more »

You'll be happy to know that plans are under way to build yet another sports arena in downtown Baltimore, even as city schools crumble beneath the feet of returning students and the number of abandoned houses in the city soars to nearly 40,000. That's about one for every heroin addict living in the city, according to a June 2008 report from the Institute for Justice. more »

Abortion advocates would have us believe that abortion is a matter of personal choice. They make no judgment as to the efficacy of one choice over another — as if aborting or not aborting were of equal value. The consequence of choosing not to abort is a life. Originally weighing in at a whopping 2.5 pounds, cell phones have changed drastically over the years. Released for general public use in 1983, "cellular phones" used to be luxury items. Today, they seem to be necessities at every age. more »
